A farewell, after ten years.

For over a decade, RSCEMULATION has been the longest-running RuneScape Classic private server. What started as a small project to keep a beloved game alive grew into something far bigger than any of us expected — a community that stuck around through every up and down.

The players have been everything. The friendships, the late-night raids, the screenshots, the in-jokes, the people who came back five, eight, ten years later just to log in one more time — all of it. None of this existed without you.

It's with a heavy heart that we have to share that we're cancelling RSCE2, and that RSCE original will be shutting down soon. The RuneScape Classic IP has a new owner, and they've asked us to stand down. We're respecting that request.

We're sad. We won't pretend otherwise. But we're also hopeful — the game we love is now in the hands of someone who cares enough about it to want it back. That's a better ending than most old games get.

Thank you for ten years. Thank you for every login, every donation, every bug report, every Discord message at 3am. You made this what it was.
